english as a second language
the world at our door.
English as a Second Language (ESL) teaches adults of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures how to read and speak the world’s most widely used language by setting up classrooms of small groups at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Every Tuesday night, we host the ESL Conversation Café. The Conversation Café will give you an opportunity to speak with Canadians who are patient and want to help you learn!
Each week we talk about a different topic, such as food, stress, and holidays. After reading and answering questions about the topic, we discuss parts of the Bible that relate to the topic. At the end of the Café, we discuss idioms that apply to the topic. Idioms can be confusing in conversation so we'll try to help you understand them.
