English as a Second Language (ESL) gives adults of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures practice reading and speaking the world’s most widely used language at the intermediate level.

Every Tuesday night, beginning on September 13, we host the ESL Conversation Café on Zoom. The  Conversation Café will give you an opportunity to speak with Canadians who are patient and want to help you learn! The Conversation Café is for intermediate-level students.

Each week we talk about a different topic, such as food, stress, and holidays.  After reading and answering questions about the topic, we discuss parts of the Bible that relate to the topic.  At the end of the Café, we discuss idioms that apply to the topic.  Idioms can be confusing in conversation so we'll try to help you understand them.
