At Ellerslie, we know how important strong friendships are—especially in the preteen years.
That’s why we host events created just for students in grades 5 and 6, giving them the chance to have fun, build friendships, and grow in meaningful connections.
With events happening throughout the year, there’s always something exciting on the calendar! These experiences help students make new friends, create lasting memories, and develop a sense of belonging that will stay with them for years to come.

Preteen Summer Quest
Join us on July 22 from 2:00-4:00 pm for an afternoon of art, games, snacks, and summer fun with friends! This event is for preteens entering grades 5 & 6.

Grade 7 Dinner & Hangout
Students entering Grade 7 this fall are invited to join us on August 19 at 6 pm for some pre-youth dinner, games, and fun as they meet their new youth leaders and make new friends before the school year begins!
Cost: $5 per person
