triads
share in confidence,
grow in confidence.
Transparency. At our very core we desire to be known and loved, yet while the reward is great, so is the risk.
“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God” (Timothy Keller). To be known and loved is what we hope takes place in each of these groups.
Triads are groups of 3 to 5 people of the same gender who meet regularly to discuss life and God, and how they intersect.
While the topics vary from group to group, each Triad is encouraged to discuss the previous week's sermon, read the Bible together, pray with one another, perhaps work through a discipleship book and unpack what it means to be an emotionally healthy Christian.
