Faith + Family Workshops
Kids + Parents Learning Together
Throughout the year, Pastor Kelsey hosts grade-specific faith workshops for students and their parents to attend together. This is an opportunity for the ekids ministry team to partner with parents in guiding their kids on their own personal faith journey! Workshops typically take place on Sunday mornings during the services.
preteens + parents | april 6
Discover the significance of communion and baptism with your grade 5/6 preteen and determine if they're ready for these next steps in their faith journey! At least one parent must be present.
This workshop takes place during the 9:15 am + 11:15 am services in room 225 (upstairs). There is no regular grade 5/6 class.
kinders + parents | june 1
Together you'll experience a taste of "big kids church" as you join in the elementary chapel time. Afterwards, Pastor Kelsey will share what to expect as your Kinder makes the transition upstairs. At least one parent must be present.
This workshop takes place during the 9:15 am + 11:15 am services. Please meet in the ekids chapel (upstairs).

Interested in dedicating your child(ren)? Learn why Ellerslie believes in dedicating children, what to expect in your child's faith development, and what it means to be your child's primary spiritual teacher. The next child dedication ceremony is planned for June.
