FAQ
ellerslie is more than just a community; we’re a family dedicated to walking alongside you in your spiritual journey. Whether you’re searching for answers, seeking a place where you truly belong, or yearning for the hope that Jesus offers, we're here for you.
What happens in the main service?
Join us in the main auditorium or online every Sunday! We offer two identical services at 9:15 am and 11:15 am that feature uplifting live music followed by a Bible centred message that will challenge and encourage you - all in about 75 minutes. For Mandarin speakers, we also have a congregation called starlight.
Is there something for kids?
There sure is! Our Kids Church program offers an exciting and engaging experience that runs during our main worship services. Dedicated nursery workers provide loving care for babies aged 6 to 23 months. Our enthusiastic preschool team leads captivating Bible lessons filled with fun games and delicious snacks. For our elementary students, teachers facilitate dynamic large and small group activities, all aimed on bringing God's incredible story to life! We prioritize creating meaningful memories for your kids as they explore their personal faith in a safe and supportive community.
What if I'm not sure about Jesus?
Perfect! That's why you're here. You can explore Jesus at your own pace whether it's coming to a Sunday morning service, taking part in Alpha (a course that explores Christianity), or through joining a small group.
What does it mean to consider yourself a Christian?
Being a Christian goes far beyond simply attending church services; it’s about intimately knowing and wholeheartedly following Jesus. A good church is more than just a meeting place - it’s a community that inspires us to embody His teachings, integrate His presence into our daily lives, and genuinely connect with one another and our neighbours. Embracing this journey together encourages growth and strengthens our faith, both as individuals as a church family.
Do I need to dress up?
Nope. We like you just the way you are!
